Volunteers will have access to many projects ranging from teaching school children, assisting in day care, small building projects and the ongoing development of an Eco-Tourism project.
Volunteer in Africa (Ghana) for the classic African volunteer experience. On arrival, local volunteer coordinators are never far away and are on hand to assist and advise on how to get the most out of your experience as a Ghanaian volunteer.
Volunteer for change’s volunteers stay together at a volunteer house, allowing our volunteers to make new and long lasting friends (most people travel alone). At the weekends there are plenty of opportunities to get away for a splash around, into the local town to shop or for a night out, do a mini safari or take a weekend break on the Gold Coast.

Volunteer for change’s volunteers work within the community helping to fight poverty by reaching out to the poorest and most vulnerable people. By helping these people gain access to food, shelter, work, education and healthcare, Volunteers change lives one person at a time.
The available projects change periodically, even if you have volunteered with us once before, every experience is varied and different. Every volunteer is highly valued and any expertise is at a premium. Volunteers have the opportunity to work on the following projects, if available.
